“The Burning Blade are an honorable clan, but they have chosen the wrong side in this conflict.”
The Burning Blade clan is an orc clan that once lived in Nagrand in alternate Draenor. They have since joined the Mag'har Clans and pledged their loyalty to the Horde after their arrival on Azeroth.
History
Alongside the Grom'kar, the clan invades Talador. They destroy many draenei cities and villages, including Tuurem and Shattrath City. In Hallvalor, Lantresor was imprisoned by his enemies because of his origin. With the help of an adventurer, he was freed and challenged the warlord's authority in The Masters' Cavern. In the arena, the warlord's grandsons were killed. In order to avenge them, their grandfather entered the arena but was killed as well. After their defeat, Azuka Bladefury becomes the new Warlord of the Burning Blade clan within the Iron Horde. She exiles Lantresor from the clan forever.[2] At The Warlord's Council, it is decided that the clan will be keeping a close eye on the Highmaul ogres, in order to remain obedient.[3] Following the fall of Azuka Bladefury at Bladefury's Command in Talador, the leadership status of the clan is unknown, though it is presumed that Blademaster Jubei'thos is in charge of his clan due to his high position within the fel-corrupted Iron Horde.
At some point, Burning Blade orcs attacked treasure hunters at Oshu'gun to loot their crystals, possibly preparing for some dark ritual.[4]
Battle for Azeroth
In time, the Burning Blade clan joined with the other Mag'har orc clans under the command of Warchief Grommash Hellscream.[5] As the Mag'har and Lightbound clashed, events on Azeroth would see to a new war between the Horde and the Alliance. In the midst of this, Eitrigg sought to travel to the alternate Draenor and call upon the debt the Mag'har owed to the Horde for liberating them from Garrosh Hellscream's meddling and the Burning Legion's corruption.[6]
As the entire Lightbound army was marching towards the Mag'har, Grommash ordered the Mag'har to follow Geya'rah and fall back to Azeroth. Thus, when Warchief Hellscream and Lantresor of the Blade charged at the Lightbound, Eitrigg activated the shard of the [Vision of Time] in his possession in order to return to Azeroth with his new allies.[7] After their arrival on Azeroth, Overlord Geya'rah took her place as leader of the Mag'har and pledged the loyalty of her people to Warchief Sylvanas Windrunner and the Horde.[8]
Heartlands
Amid the armistice at the end of the Fourth War, Overlord Geya'rah and the Mag'har Clans were granted Hammerfall as a place for their people to make a fresh start on Azeroth.[9]

Culture
- Sticky, smelly, and highly flammable, blazegrease is liberally applied to the swords and axes of the Burning Blade clan before battle. Though some warriors choose to ignite their weapons before battle, most let the inevitable contact of blades and armor spark the blazegrease for unpredictable intimidation.[10]
