Talanji's Expedition is an expedition of Zandalari trolls from Zuldazar, backed by the Darkspear tribe. It is personally led by Talanji, Princess of the Zandalari Empire. The expedition will face off against the blood troll forces.

History

Even though her father dismissed the threat of the blood trolls, Talanji sought to take the fight to them. Aided by her fellow Zandalari and backed by Rokhan, a shadow hunter of the Darkspear tribe, as well as a contingent of his scouts and warriors, Talanji's newly created expedition ventured into the swamps of Nazmir. At Rokhan's direction, Zul'jan Ruins was converted into the expedition's main outpost.^[1] After discovering that the blood trolls sought to unleash Taloc on Zuldazar, Talanji and Rokhan sought to enlist the aid of the loa to aid them in the battle against the blood trolls, unaware that Torga had been killed, Krag'wa was under assault by the blood trolls, and Hir'eek corrupted into serving G'huun.^[2]

As they sought the aid of Bwonsamdi, Horde adventurers would encounter his worshiper, Hanzabu, who brought them to the Necropolis to meet with him. After tasking the adventurer with cleansing his temple of the spirits who had abandoned Bwonsamdi for G'huun, Bwonsamdi agreed to pledge his powers to the fight against the blood trolls in exchange for one million souls. The ritual to finalize their contract was interrupted by the blood trolls and their matriarch who were successfully fought off. For being attacked in his own temple, Bwonsamdi declared that the blood trolls would be mighty sorry.^[3] Thus the expedition gained the loa of death as their ally. The expedition also recruited numerous tortollans to their cause after saving Torga's corpse from being corrupted by G'huun's herald, Jungo.^[4]

While Hir'eek was killed,^[5] Krag'wa would be liberated from the blood troll assault, and the loa unleash his fury on them.^[6] With their new allies and Horde reinforcements, Talanji's expedition launched an assault on the blood troll capital that saw to the death of Grand Ma'da Ateena, the matriarch of the blood trolls, and Taloc being blasted into Uldir itself.^[7]
