History

WoW Icon update.png This section concerns content related to the original World of Warcraft.

In the aftermath of the Second War, the Revantusk settled on the coast of the Hinterlands where they established Revantusk Village. After the Third War, she and the Revantusk learned that Thrall had revitalized the Horde and entered into a pact of friendship and mutual assistance with them.[1] At an unknown point either during or after these events, she became mates with Elder Torntusk.

At some point, her mate was taken prisoner by the Vilebranch tribe after they launched a bold midnight raid on Revantusk village. In time, she learned from her spies that he was imprisoned within Jintha'alor and that Vile Priestess Hexx sought to sacrifice him to the faceless Blood God, Hakkar the Soulflayer.[2] When Horde adventurers arrived to aid the tribe, she tasked them to fight the Vilebranch, ordering the death of Vile Priestess Hexx and the liberation of her mate. After their victory, Elder Torntusk returned to her and the rest of the tribe.[3][4]

After the death of Guard Captain Malkhor, she declared that the position of Guard Captain of Revantusk was open and instructed any interested applications in proving worth by taking the battle to the Vilebranch.[5]

Cataclysm

Cataclysm This section concerns content related to Cataclysm.

In the wake of the Cataclysm, the Revantusk openly supported the Horde as they battled the other forest troll tribes in the region and the Wildhammer dwarves in an effort to claim the Hinterlands for themselves and the Horde. While Elder Torntusk took charge of Revantusk Village, Primal Torntusk personally led Horde forces in order to claim Jintha'alor for the Revantusk and the Horde, while vowing to make the Vilebranch tribe regret ever crossing them.[6]

As part of the first strike at the Vilebranch, she called for the deaths of their headhunters, witch doctors, and Umboda Three-Heads.[7][8] Determined to not let them react, Primal Torntusk pressed the advantage by striking the Vilebranch within the upper levels of Jintha'alor. After discovering that Ongo'longo was being held as a prisoner, she called for the dire troll's liberation.[9]

She was stunned to discover that the Vilebranch at the summit of Jintha'alor performed a mass sacrifice by throwing their lives away to Shadra.[10] Having been informed of who Shadra was by Kotonga, she was determined to discover what the Vilebranch were up too. Following the death of Morta'gya the Keeper, she discovered that the Vilebranch sought to summon Shadra with the  [Tablet of Shadra], and voiced her opinion that it should be destroyed.[11] However she was convinced otherwise and allowed for Eliza Darkgrin and adventures to deliver the tablet to the Forsaken at the Hiri'watha Research Station.[12]

Primal Torntusk ultimately defeated the Vilebranch and claimed Jintha'alor for the Revantusk and the Horde.[13]
