Mutated abominations[1][2] are a form of giant, powerful abominations.[3] They were first created by the Scourge scientist Professor Putricide, but a few have also been created by the Forsaken. They have existed since at least the Third War, as a specimen named Blightgut participated in the Scourge invasion of Quel'Thalas.[4]
