Hellscream's Vanguard (or simply the Vanguard) were a force of orcs led by Legionnaire Nazgrim, commanded to conquer the land recently raised in the area of Vashj'ir, in an effort to invade Stormwind.

• Considering most members of the force are wearing the classic Kor'kron armor it is possible that they are members of the Kor'kron Guard. They may also be orc marines.
• Since he give quests related to Vashj'ir and wear the same armor as them, Commander Thorak is presumably a member of the force.
