Hanzabu is a Zandalari troll located at the Zo'bal Ruins and the Necropolis in Nazmir. He is a worshiper of Bwonsamdi.
Searching for the Death Loa, he is first encountered by the Speaker of the Horde on his way to the Necropolis. Hanzabu has been collecting souls from his hunt into his charm in order to pay off his debt. He asked the adventurers to kill Blood Witch Najima as she was too strong for him, and help catch more souls in order to restore them and Zo'bal,[1][2] after which he would then accompany the adventurer to Bwonsamdi's citadel where he explained that in order to see the Death Loa, a special ritual needed to be conducted, in which he offered his help. With the audience granted, Hanzabu brought several souls and the Speaker to Bwosnamdi.[3][4] He soon returned to Zo'bal to gather more souls to pay off his debt and eventually learned that the Speaker also formed a pact with Bwonsamdi.[5]
After Bwonsamdi imprisoned Mueh'zala at the Necropolis, the loa's presence drew the nearby undead of Nazmir to the Necropolis to rescue him. With the help of the Maw Walkers serving the Night Fae Covenant, Bwonsamdi used dark mojo to force Mueh'zala to reveal his plans. He also promised that those who perished in the attack would kept out of the Maw.[6][7]
He traveled to the Dragon Isles and can be found participating in Fight Night in the Dragon's Hoard in Valdrakken.
