The Longwalkers are tauren scouts and messengers chosen by Cairne Bloodhoof. They were Cairne's only to command and were trusted with the most important of messages, information, and secrets. Not even Thrall knew everything Cairne shared with the Longwalkers. The Longwalkers, who had witnessed the fight in Orgrimmar between Cairne and Garrosh Hellscream and planned to report to Baine, had all been quickly, quietly dispatched before they could do so by the tauren of Grimtotem tribe.[1]
Several Longwalkers still live, as some Longwalker scouts kept Baine informed about Grimtotem's activities[2] and one unnamed delivered a message to Garrosh after the Alliance retook Northwatch Hold.[3]
Perith Stormhoof is a named member.
