Razak's Roughriders is a group of gnomes mounted on mechanostriders in Blade's Edge Mountains and Kul Tiras. They are led by Razak Ironsides.
History
The Burning Crusade
During the invasion of Outland in 26 ADP, Toshley hired the Razak's Roughriders to protect the gnomish scientists in Blade's Edge Mountains. After Toshley's Station was founded, they came to protect it whenever the local ravagers attacked, and notably put down the Ridgespine Stalkers jumping the unsuspecting passersbyers.[1] In order to protect the settlement, Razak tasked Alliance adventurers to collect sharp teeth from the nearby raptors, in order to forge weapons as a backup against the bugs.[2]
Battle for Azeroth
During the Fourth War in 33 ADP, Razak and his men traveled to Boralus Harbor in Kul Tiras, from where they participated in the Island Expeditions.
The Razak's Roughriders later traveled as part of Tinkmaster Overspark's group to Mechagon Island, where they helped in the defense of Rustbolt, supporting the Rustbolt Resistance in their civil war against King Mechagon and his Arcforged followers. They notably tasked Alliance and Horde adventurers to destroy mechanical creations across the island,[3] and requested their help to save the troopers who have been pinned down by the mechanical insects at Sparkweaver Point.[4]
