— Vindicator Boros

Vindicator Boros is a draenei vindicator and a member of the Triumvirate of the Hand, the leaders of the Hand of Argus. He is initially found as a quest giver at Blood Watch on Bloodmyst Isle, and later moved in the Sanctum of Light beneath Light's Hope Chapel as a champion and leader of the Order of the Silver Hand.

He has dedicated himself to renew the sacred vows of the Hand of Argus at all costs and refuses to let their legacy die.[1] During the third invasion of the Burning Legion, he pledged the allegiance of the Hand of Argus to the reformed Order of the Silver Hand and pledged his services to its new Highlord. As a member of the order's war council,[2] he participated in the meetings for important decisions, fought during the battle against Balnazzar and his army in the Netherlight Temple, and followed the Highlord on the Vindicaar for their campaign on Argus.

By the time of the events on the Dragon Isles, Boros remained a member and leader of the Silver Hand and traveled to Tyrhold with Justicar Julia Celeste.

Following the crash of the Exodar, Vindicator Boros was present at Blood Watch in Bloodmyst Isle from where he coordinated the troops of the Hand of Argus. With the other members of the Triumvirate of the Hand, he planned to defeat Kael'thas Sunstrider's blood elves Sunfury, who followed them to Azeroth,[3] but also clean up the damage caused by the crash of the Exodar on the fauna and flora of Bloodmyst Isle with the help of a draenei adventurer.[4]

After the discovery of the traitor eredar Sironas, and her group of blood elves called the Sunhawks,[5] Prophet Velen created a battle plan and ordered Vindicator Boros to organize the military campaign, so that they could end the blood elven menace once and for all.[6] Following the battle, with the destruction of the Sun Gate[7] and the defeat of Sironas and her Sunhawks; the Hand of Argus prevented Kael'thas from invading Kalimdor and corrupting the draenei into demons.[8]

As a member of the Triumvirate of the Hand, Boros was present during the meeting of the Hand of Argus to discuss their people's future on Azeroth in light of the Exodar's repair. With the Triumvirate, he agreed on the decision that, unless Velen ordered otherwise, within a week the Exodar would take flight for old Draenor to rebuild their second home on Outland and assist the Lost Ones remaining behind.

He was present when Velen himself emerged to quell the unrest between the Vindicators and the Alliance refugees, and announced that the draenei and the Exodar would remain on Azeroth to face the incoming threat with their allies of the Alliance.[9]

Following the Battle for Broken Shore, Vindicator Boros convened with the leaders of Azeroth's other paladin orders in Dalaran. He later led the Hand of Argus to the Sanctum of Light, beneath Light's Hope Chapel, in order to pay their respects to the fallen Highlord Tirion Fordring of the Argent Crusade. After the ceremony, Boros stepped forward and pledged his order's support to the new Highlord of the Silver Hand.

After the discovery of the  [Light's Heart], which crashed towards the coast of Suramar, and listening to the message of the High Exarch Turalyon to save Azeroth by bringing the heart of the naaru Xe'ra to the Prophet Velen, Boros was summoned at the request of Lord Grayson Shadowbreaker to be present during the meeting of the Silver Hand, as a leader of the Order, where he affirmed that they should focus their efforts on tracking down the dreadlord Balnazzar, in order to bring justice.[10]

Following the Battle for the Exodar, he could be encountered at the Old Coast Path in Azsuna with Silver Hand Knights, keeping a close eye on Legion movements in the case they could attack Balnazzar, responsible of the attacks in that region.[11] However, Boros let himself be carried away by his anger and his desire for justice for all the draenei who died at the hands of the Legion and launched the charge against all demons in lower Faronaar despite Justicar Julia Celeste's warnings about their lack of information on the enemy.[12] Vindicator Boros was eventually captured by the Legion and locked up under the watch of the fel lord Jarvox, before being rescued by the Highlord of the Silver Hand and Justicar Julia Celeste, to which he apologized for letting himself be guided by rage, putting his mission and the lives of his men in prejudice.[13] Following his return to the Sanctum of Light, Boros once again thanked the Highlord for opening his eyes, then accepted to be a champion of the Silver Hand.[14]

He later aided a priest hero to claim  [T'uure, Beacon of the Naaru] from the man'ari Lady Calindris after one of his wounded men, Defender Barrem, mentioned the artifact in his delirium.[15][16] He assisted the adventurer on Niskara where he resurected the draenei Alora,[17] rescued the trapped troll Bo'ja, and confronted Subjugator Valith, the doomguard Captain Naranoth, and Lady Calindris with the help of the demon hunter Jace Darkweaver. He then left the prison world with everyone.[18][19]

During the battle at the Netherlight Temple, he was seen fighting against the hordes of demons summoned by Balnazzar, until Lothraxion and the Army of the Light came and helped them to eliminate the dreadlord for good.[20]

The forces aboard the Vindicaar, prepared to defeat the Burning Legion on Argus.

He escorted the forces of the Azerothian forces to the Exodar in preparation for the Vindicaar's trip to Argus,[21] and later could be found at Darkfall Ridge fighting demons seeking to reach the Vindicaar.

Dragonflight

A few years later, Vindicator Boros and Justicar Julia Celeste traveled to the Dragon Isles and could be seen at Tyr's Rest, the headquarters of the Tyr's Guard. He expressed his joy that Travard had managed to find new recruits for his order, noting the cooperation of Alliance and Horde races, which reminded him of the union of the paladin orders during the third invasion of the Burning Legion and the unbreakable bonds those dark days forged among them.[22] When Julia mentioned that Travard had told her that Tyr might walk Azeroth again, Boros responded that it was an incredible possibility and an exciting time to be a paladin, and that the keeper's return would change everything.[23]

Following the resurrection of Tyr, Vindicator Boros was delighted to learn of the success of the Tyr's Guard, and said that it could only be a good thing for the world and for the Knights of the Silver Hand.[24]

Later, Boros attended the Tishamaat on the Exodar. He and the other members of the Triumvirate of the Hand had been assigned to escort Arzaal and the other repentant man'ari during the celebration. Though he trusted Velen's judgment, he still had apprehensions.[25]
