In an alternate history of Draenor, the Auchenai have not turned from their holy purpose and still follow the Light. However, traitors from within the Auchenai - such as Soulbinder Nyami - have joined a faction of draenei called the Sargerei who serve the Burning Legion and work with the Shadow Council to lower Auchindoun's defenses for the Legion to invade. Maladaar and the Auchenai unite with Lady Liadrin and her Sunsworn forces from the present-day Azeroth to stop the Sargerei and Shadow Council.
