Wildhammer Stronghold is an Alliance keep in the Shadowmoon Valley of Outland. As its name implies, it was founded by Kurdran Wildhammer, one of the survivors of the original Alliance Expedition, shortly before the destruction of Draenor. The stables of Wildhammer Stronghold are also one location of the Alliance's gryphon riding trainers and gryphon breeders for those seeking flying mounts.

The dwarven keep was built over sacred, ancestral grounds to the orcish Shadowmoon clan, and the spirits of departed Shadowmoon orcs haunt the land. In alternate Draenor, this same place could have been once home to Anguish Fortress and the Shadowmoon Burial Grounds, or Shaz'gul.
