A gorilla since Battle for Azeroth.

Gorillas are a species of ape found in Stranglethorn Vale, Feralas, Un'Goro Crater, Sholazar Basin, the Jade Forest, and Zandalar. Young apes quickly learn to hang from branches with their feet, leaving both hands free to fling objects at interlopers.^[1] The gorillas at Gorilla Gorge in Zuldazar are highly intelligent due to the presence of kaja'mite.^[2]

Jungle trolls of the Bloodscalp tribe worship a gorilla like earth spirit named Tsul'Kalu that grants his shamaninstic followers control over earth.^[3]

An enormous gorilla named King Mukla dwells on Jaguero Island in southeast Stranglethorn Vale, holding a tauren named Princess Poobah captive.

Baby Apes can be captured in pet battles on Jaguero Isle in the Cape of Stranglethorn when it's raining.
[Baby Winston] is rewarded from the Overwatch Origins Edition and Collector's Edition.
[Banana Charm] summons Bananas, a baby gorilla pet. This item is available only to those who receive the King Mukla card in the World of Warcraft Through the Dark Portal TCG expansion that has the "scratch off gently" strip. Once you scratch and reveal the code, you can turn it into Landro Longshot in Booty Bay who will give you Banana Charm.
[False Knucklebump] is a rare drop from Island expeditions.
[Mega-Mecha Gorilla] is rewarded from [80] Inoperative Mega-Mecha Gorilla.
[Misty] is purchased from Bobadormu for 2200 during Timewalking.
[Professor Punch] is sold by Ditty Fuzeboy in the Toys-For-Less for 8 .
[Rebuilt Gorilla Bot] is a pet constructed from parts obtained during Vol'dun Faction Assaults.
[Rocketfist] is sold by Shredz the Scrapper for 6500 after reaching Revered with the Venture Company.
[Tiny Torq] is sold by Skitto Screwjack for 6500 after reaching Renown 9 with the Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club.

Gorillas are a family of Tenacity pets and are tamable by hunters starting at level 28. Gorillas, through use of their [Pummel] ability, interrupt spellcasting, preventing any spell in that school from being cast for 2 sec. This is great in PvP and also has uses in PvE, especially for interrupting bosses in 5-player dungeons.

There are five different skins available for gorilla pets - the white Tsul'Kalu model being the rarest by far. Gorillas became very popular for a time because they were the only pet with access to the Thunderstomp skill. With Thunderstomp now available to any Tenacity pet, they have become uncommon.

Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): [Pummel] replaced with [Blessing of Kongs].
