Lesser Dragonkin are a Ferocity hunter pet family introduced in Dragonflight. The family includes:
The family's special ability is 
[Shimmering Scales], which reduces the pet's magic damage taken by 70% for 8 seconds and has a 90 second cooldown.
Lesser Dragonkin taming is learned from 
[How to Train a Dragonkin], a reward for reaching Renown 23 with the Valdrakken Accord.
Notes
- Cloud serpents have a separate taming skill and are not affected by whether a hunter has learned to tame Lesser Dragonkin.[1]
- Though vorquin are part of the stag family, they're classed as dragonkin and require the Lesser Dragonkin taming skill.
Patch changes
Patch 10.0.2 (2022-11-15): Lesser Dragonkin hunter pet family added. Cloud Serpents have had their pet family changed from Serpents to Lesser Dragonkin.
