Dreadsabers are saber cats that live in Sholazar Basin.
Description
During the war against the Lich King, they attracted Hemet Nesingwary to the Basin due to the fact that while he had tested his skill against many large cats before, the dreadsabers were different. Their incredible strength and ferocity surpassed that of even the Winterspring frostsabers, allowing them to bring down larger prey than Hemet or any other member of his camp had ever seen a cat hunt. To overcome and kill such a predator is seen as the mark of a true hunter, and as a result, Buck Cantwell sent those seeking to impress him out to test themselves against the dreadsabers.[1][2]
