Salamanthers are a type of amphibian found on the Dragon Isles. Stalks of leapmaize can act as a feeding ground for small salamanthers, which are in turn preyed on by hornswogs.[1] The mystics of Clan Ohn'ir use salamanther hearts in rituals to hear Ohn'ahra's voice more clearly or to ask her for guidance.[2][3] Most salamanthers' attention jumps freely from one attraction to the next,[4] and few are willing to be ridden.[5]
Salamanthers are part of the lizard family of hunter pets.
As a companion pet
