Sabertusks are tamable by hunters as part of the lizard family.

Notes and trivia

• The Zandalari druid [Cat Form] is a sabertusk.
• During the early beta of Battle for Azeroth, various Zulian tigers existed in the stead of sabertusks, such as the Zulian Empress who was the objective of the quest  [10-60G3] WANTED: Sabertusk Empress.
• Sabertusks are not directly based on any specific real-world dinosaur species. The model was created by Kenny McBride, who took inspiration from several dinosaurs and lizards to create a swift and agile creature.
  • Despite this, they bear some resemblance to several types of prehistoric crocodile relatives with cat-like aspects.
