Cloudrunner
Cloudrunners are mighty unicorns native to the Shadowlands. Majestic and swift, there are few beings in any realm that can hope to match one at full gallop, nor match their endurance. Their horn is able to store and channel small bursts of anima. Combined with their speed, they can be a formidable opponent in combat. Their horn is prized by predator and hunter alike, so they must often put their speed and endurance to use. Some attempt to bond with these creatures so that they may serve as mounts.[1]
Some of those native to Ardenweald are called valerunners.[2] Gloomrunners are a darker variant. It's said that the birth of a gloomrunner heralds the passing of a particularly benevolent Wild God, and that seeing a gloomrunner is therefore both a blessing and a curse.[3]
