Stable master

Stable masters are NPCs that offer a number of pet-related services.
Stable masters are typically found outside most city and town inns or near the pet trainers. You can ask the city guards where they are when you are in major cities. In other locations where city guards are not present the minimap tracking feature will show a horseshoe icon () at their locations.
Quotes
- Greetings, hunter. I can help stable you pets or assist you in recovering lost companions.
I'd like to stable my pet here.
- Greetings, <class>. I can assist you in recovering lost companions.
I'm looking for a lost companion.
I'd like to heal and revive my battle pets.
Services

- For 10
a stable master will heal and revive your battle pets, as part of the Pet Battle System.
- Stable masters offer hunters the opportunity to store up to 205 pets and retrieve them at any other allied stable master. To stable a pet, right-click on the stable master to open the stable window. You will see your current pet displayed in a slot below the preview window. Click the "Put in Stable" button that's in the bottom-right corner to stable it; alternatively, click and drag your current pet's icon to the left side scroll-window.
- There are five slots available to all hunters (see
[Call Pet]), plus a sixth slot to the right of them that is reserved to Beast Mastery hunters who are talented into
[Animal Companion]. If ineligible, the sixth slot will display a lock icon. You can also rename a pet by clicking the pencil icon to the right of the selected pet's name in the preview window.
- Players can use stable masters to recover lost non-combat pets rewarded by quests at any stable master. Restoring a lost pet will not reward the pet item, but rather store the pets' spell directly in the pet collection. E.g.
[Worg Carrier] – Quest Reward from
[59D] Kibler's Exotic Pets can be restored if you destroyed the item but have finished the quest.
