Game Menu as of patch 11.0.0.

The Game Menu, often referred to as the options, can be accessed by either pressing ⎋ Esc or clicking the Gamemenu micromenu 10.1.5.png button on the Micro Menu.

  • Options, used to change the graphics, sound, interface, or AddOn settings.
  • Shop
  • AddOns, allows players to enable/disable their current AddOns.
  • What's New, displays the new features/additions added to the game. Does not display for low levels.
    • Character Boost, replaces What's New, displays only for newly created characters from a character boost. This will change back to What's New once the character has some certain requirements.
  • Edit Mode, customize the HUD layout.
  • Support, aka Customer Support.
  • Macros, which can also be accessed by typing /m , allows players to create macros.
  • Log Out, takes players back to the Character selection screen.
  • Exit Game
  • Return to Game (or Close)

Removed options

  • The following were merged into Options:
    • Key Bindings, which allow players to change what the keys do when pressed.
    • System, used to change the graphics and sound for the game.
    • Interface, used to change nearly every type of interface window.

    • The interface has been up-scaled, elements and text now appear larger.
    • Buttons now use the Shadowlands upscaled texture.
    • Some buttons have been rearranged.
    • It can now be accessed from the login screen via a new "Menu" button.

  • WoD-Logo-Small.png Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Added What's New button.
  • Mists-Logo-Small.png Patch 5.4.2 (2013-12-10):
    • Added Shop button.
    • Buttons are now in groups, with spacing between each group.
