Warchief's Command Board

Warchief's Command Boards can be found at any major Horde quest hub in Azeroth. It offers level-appropriate quests for all zones. The quests offered are specific to their continent--that is, to see available Kalimdor zones, one must visit the Orgrimmar board, and for Eastern Kingdoms, the Undercity one. The equivalent billboard for the Alliance is the Hero's Call Board, an example of which can be found between the bank and the auction house in the Trade District of Stormwind City.

While the quests posted on the board are not required and are merely breadcrumb quests, they are intended to help players who either do not know where to quest at their level or are simply ready for the next stage of their adventure.

Modern

For modern World of Warcraft experience, the board prioritizes providing quests for the currently chosen Timewalking Campaign, but it can only show up to three quests at a time, which can be a problem for Cataclysm campaign due to a large number of zones available. Players can cycle through the quests by accepting them until the board shows the desired one, then abandoning the ones not needed, though this still has its limits due to the 25 quest limit.

For Legion and onwards, only the breadcrumb to the expansion itself is shown, since the leveling is either linear or replicates the board's function in-expansion.

In addition, the function of the Warchief's Command Board is largely replicated with the Adventure Guide.
