Chatting with a GM

The Chatting with a GM is a separate interface from the chat interface and is the only way a real Blizzard employee may contact a player when on World of Warcraft. When a Game Master is trying to contact a user to address a ticket, a tooltip will popup where the buffs show up, next to the minimap and a clickable message would appear in the chat interface. The game master will always appear with a symbol next to their name.

Notes

• GMs will never contact a player by whispering them through the chat interface.
