There were various Pet tabs within the user interface over the lifespan of World of Warcraft.

Spellbook

The tab located in the Spellbook & Professions shows players what the currently active pet is capable of doing and what passive buffs they're receiving from their talents.

Character info

Removed from game The subject of this section was removed from World of Warcraft in patch 5.0.4.

The tab in the character info window provided players information about their currently active pet, such as their diet, attack power, etc. This tab had more useful information to hunters than warlocks.

Specialization & Talents

Removed from game The subject of this section was removed from World of Warcraft in patch 10.0.0.

In Mists of Pandaria, a pet tab was added under the Specialization & Talents interface, replacing the Pet Talents tab from the previous Talents interface. This tab contained information about the three pet specializations. During Legion, it also allowed the hunter to change their pet's specialization freely while out of combat.

While the UI is still available in-game, it can only be accessed via macro (/run TalentFrame_LoadUI(); ShowUIPanel(PlayerTalentFrame);) and the functionality of it is broken.

Notes

  • Prior to patch 4.1.0, the happiness level was previously shown in the character info tab.
