Stars' Rest is a night elven outpost built within Highborne ruins, south of Icemist Village in the Dragonblight. Frost nymphs from the nearby forest came to help the night elves. There is a moonwell here as well.
History
During the Northrend campaign in 27 ADP, the Valiance Expedition made its way into the Dragonblight, where Commander Saia Azuresteel and her night elven forces set up Stars' Rest in one of the Highborne's ruins. Among them, Warden Jodi Moonsong focused her efforts to destroy the Scourge and Anub'ar cultists plaguing Icemist Village, using the moonwell's water to cleanse their corruption.[1][2] With the help of Alliance adventurers, she eventually discovered that High Cultist Zangus was their leader and had him executed in the Pit of Narjun.[3][4]
Through the Hero's Call Boards, Alliance heroes were eventually sent to the night elven outpost, where they helped the Image of Archmage Modera to stop the blue dragonflight's plans in the region.[5][6][7]
Upon discovering that one of their men was a spy for the Cult of the Damned, Private Casey sent Courier Lanson with a missive for High Commander Halford Wyrmbane in Dragonblight. However, the courier was ambushed by a small group of Anub'ar on the bridges of Coldwind Pass, and while he barely made it out to Stars' Rest, he was too injured to continue his journey to Wintergarde Keep.[8]
