Help icon

The help icon is a button located at the top left of most user interface windows. It provides information on the various aspects of an interface.

Clicking the icon will show the icon over a couple of areas of the user interface and hovering over each area will show a tooltip that describes what that area is about.

Supported UI

The following user interfaces currently have the help icon:

• Professions tab
• Map & Quest Log
• Pet Journal (part of Collections)
• Appearances (part of Collections)
• Traveler's Log (part of Adventure Guide)
•  [WoW Token] in the Auction House
• Edit Mode
• Ping System
• Issue Reporter (Testing only)
• Recruit A Friend interface

Disabling

The tooltips can be switched to not popup automatically by going into the Options > Interface and disabling "Tutorials".
