The Emerald Dream is the playable zone added in patch 10.2.0 of the Emerald Dream concept. Off the western shore of the Ohn'ahran Plains, players enter the zone to stop Fyrakk from corrupting Amirdrassil, the nascent World Tree.

Getting there

The Dream Portal grove

Players access the zone in  [70] Emerald Welcome, the second quest of the second chapter of the Guardians of the Dream campaign, by crossing through the Dream Portal at ^[18, 51] in the Ancient Bough of western Ohn'ahran Plains.

After that point, players may cross through the Dream Portal freely. Additionally, a portal directly to the Emerald Dream appears at ^{[62.6, 57.3]} in the Emerald Enclave of Valdrakken.

Outdoor activities in the Emerald Dream zone reward four full transmog sets per each armor type (cloth, leather, mail, plate), themed after the four seasons of the year.

• Spring: purchasable with Seedblooms. One Seedbloom is awarded each week from the weekly quest  [70W] Blooming Dreamseeds.
• Summer: quest rewards from the Guardians of the Dream campaign.
• Autumn: Bind on Equip world drops. Can be bought on the Auction House.
• Winter: three random pieces per week can be obtained from the weekly quests  [70W] Blooming Dreamseeds,  [70W] A Worthy Ally: Dream Wardens, and  [70W] The Superbloom. Each of these quests awards a random piece of item level 441+ gear, and it is possible to obtain a piece from the same slot multiple times, or to get an item without appearance, such as a necklace or ring.

Trivia

If players use the /sleep emote in the Emerald Dream zone, their character will lie down as normal, but then a green, translucent, and freely controllable dreamform will rise from the sleeping body. The effect is largely cosmetic; should players move too far away from their sleeping body, it will disappear and the dreamform will turn into the character's body. There are, however, some treasure chests in the zone that can only be opened in this state.
