Maelie the Wanderer is a cloudrunner that occasionally wanders off from Keeper's Respite in Korthia. If she does wander off, Maelie will be at the same location for all players on all regions. Check by Tinybell at Keeper's Respite or use the tracking macro before looking for her.
After finding Maelie the sixth time, Tinybell starts [60] Maelie, The Wanderer, which awards the 
[Reins of the Wanderer].
Vignette
When Maelie wanders off, Tinybell at Keeper's Respite will be looking for her:
- Tinybell says: Excuse me, <name>? Do you have a moment?
Speak with the faerie:
- I'm training Maelie to be a great steed, able to carry her rider fearlessly into the unknown!
- But she's full of natural curiosity -- she tends to wander off a lot on her own. I need to keep her focused!
Where is Maelie right now?
- That's a very good question, Maw Walker!
- Maybe you can keep an eye out for her while adventuring in Korthia? Usher her back to me, if you find her.
Find Maelie out somewhere in the zone, then reassure Maelie by interacting with her:
- Maelie the Wanderer nuzzles you happily.
- Maelie the Wanderer is returning to Keeper's Respite.
Head back to the respite and check in with Tinybell:
- Oh thank goodness, Maelie returned!
- Thank you for all the help, <name>.
In a forum post, Blizzard confirmed that Maelie is not intended to spawn every day:

While we don’t, as a rule, comment on spawn rates or drop rates, I’d like to confirm that Maelie is not expected to be present every day.
Nonetheless, with a hotfix, we’re increasing her spawn rate, and we’re also making it so that Tiny Bell will no longer beckon for you help if Maelie is not up.
Those changes should go live in the next day or two.
