- For the mob found in Nagrand, see Terrorguard (mob).
Terrorguards, also known as terrorfiends or fiends, are a powerful demonic race similar to ered'ruin.
Appearance
Powerfully built, these creatures have wings and cloven feet. They also have spines coming out of the back part of their hooves and hands.
This species has two "heads": a cylindrical one at the end of the neck and another that covers most of the torso. From the first elongated head, six twisted horns come out. A wide mouth full of large jagged teeth almost completely circle this head; a small goatee hangs down from the chin. On the forehead there's a diamond shaped crystal that stand out over the seemingly empty, dead eyes. The second head, as mentioned before, covers most of the torso. It has ten sharp teeth and two tusks protruding from the sides of the "upper lip". There are two giant eyes of the same color of the crystal on the cylindrical forehead.
Notable

Dalaran academics still struggle to determine which head of the terrorguard is the 'real' one.[1]

Terrorguards have wings and cloven feet with the same general build as that of daemons and ered'ruin — which may imply that they are a subspecies or class of the ered'ruin species. At least one terrorguard, Overmaster Grindgarr, has also been referred to as a "doomguard",[2] and the doomguard Azzinoth is depicted as a terrorguard in the TCG. One terrorguard is called a "doomlord". This may be proof of a connection to the ered'ruin.
