The Burning Front is the battle line between the allied Auchenai and Sunsworn forces, led by Exarch Maladaar and Lady Liadrin respectively, and the Shadow Council under Teron'gor, under orders from Gul'dan to take Auchindoun and "bleed it dry".
O'mogg Blackheart stole a shard of the defense crystal and is now using it to power a large portal, which pulls stronger demons through, like Kharazos the Triumphant.
