The Bloodwarders were an elite fighting force of blood elves loyal to Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider. When the corrupted prince seized control of the Tempest Keep, he immediately ordered Commander Sarannis to prepare defenses against whomever the naaru might send to reclaim the keep. Their troops were thus encountered by the adventurers within the Botanica, Mechanar and the Eye as well.

Trivia

• Other blood elven units also held the title of "Bloodwarder" among the ranks of the Sunfury, Eclipsion, and Firewing in Outland. Namely the Sunfury Bloodwarders, Eclipsion Bloodwarders, and Firewing Bloodwarders could be seen wearing the typical Blood Knights clad in heavy crimson armor, and wielding swords and spears in battle.
