Nazzivus (or the Nazzivian) is a sect[1] of satyrs based in the camp of Nazzivian in Bloodmyst Isle.

History

The Burning Crusade

In Year 26 ADP, the Nazzivus used the crystalline shards from the Exodar's crash,[2][3] which corrupted the region, as weapons.[4] At some point, they built the Nazzivus Monument with glyphs, which revealed how Highborne night elves willingly became satyrs and servants of the Burning Legion.[5] When the Legion intended to mobilize the sect against the draenei, the adventurer thinned their ranks and killed the felguard Tzerak, who had been summoned by the satyrs. Upon being informed of the situation, Vindicator Aalesia notified Harbinger Mikolaas before the satyrs and their demonic allies could overrun Blood Watch.[6]

After the Fourth War in 34 ADP, Zekhan reported that the Nazzivus satyrs were a limited threat in the region, but not fully gone.[1]

In Year 40 ADP, the satyrs of Bloodmyst Isle ambushed draenei traveling to the Exodar for the Tishamaat, with at least four attacks reported through Azuremyst Isle.[7] When Prophet Velen and his allies attempted to reveal the cult' strength, they discovered several totems made with blood-red crystals across Middenvale, revealing the fel spreaders created by a man'ari artificer.[8] Upon investigating Nazzivian, the group was ambushed by several Nazzivus satyrs using cloaking spells, then discovered the Crystalline Felspreader across the encampment.[9] It was later revealed that Sironas had returned from the Twisting Nether, and that she had conscripted local satyrs to hide the felspreaders in the ground, until she was defeated by Arzaal and the draenei hero.[10]
