The Shadowsword were an organization of felblood elves loyal to Kael'thas Sunstrider and the Burning Legion. They used the Sunwell Plateau as their main headquarters, and some also resided in the Dawnblade-controlled Magisters' Terrace. The Shadowsword were responsible for kidnapping M'uru from his secret chamber inside the Blood Knight headquarters in Silvermoon City. They battled against the heroes of the Shattered Sun Offensive that made it past the heightened Dawnblade forces inside the Sunwell Plateau. An enormous Shadowsword fel reaver guarded the hallway into the Sunwell itself.
