Iron Horde Invasion! began the pre-Warlords expansion quest chain in the Blasted Lands, the first half of the Warlords of Draenor intro experience. Players logging in after Patch 6.0.2 had gone live saw a "What's New?" window front and center that began this quest. Should players close the window, Hero's Call Boards in all capital cities would also offer the quest.

To start the questline, simply abandon  [10-40] Warlords of Draenor: The Dark Portal and take the portal to Thrall in the Blasted Lands.

Objectives

Speak with Thrall at the Shattered Landing in Blasted Lands.

Description

All able bodied members of the Horde are hereby ordered to report to Thrall in Blasted Lands.

Use the portal in Orgrimmar next to the Warchief's Command Board to head directly to the front line.

This new threat is known only as the Iron Horde. They have taken over the Dark Portal and must be stopped.

Notes

Take the port right next to the Hero's Call Board to make it to the Blasted Lands. The Iron Horde have invaded and sacked the zone, as both Nethergarde Keep and Okril'lon Hold have fallen. Both factions' fleets landed on the Shattershore on the east side of the zone.
