“It makes you wonder, does it not? The idea that death was meant to be so... orderly. Engineered, one might say. It will be interesting to see how we fit into this machinery...”

Khorag, the self-styled "Fist of the First Ones", is a battle-hardened and somewhat eccentric Knight of the Ebon Blade, considered by some to be almost mad - particularly by the Scarlet Crusade and the Forsaken, both of whom have been at the receiving end of his hammer over the years.
Biography
A former vindicator of Shattrath who survived the genocide on Draenor and the escape aboard the Exodar, Khorag did not spend very long on Azeroth before he ran into trouble - Scourge trouble. He was killed during a particularly bloody defense outside Azure Watch, enough to earn the attention of the Scourge commanders, who thought him an ideal candidate to be raised as a death knight of Acherus. He fought for the entire campaign in the Scarlet Enclave, and was among the many who joined the Knights of the Ebon Blade following the betrayal at Light's Hope Chapel.
Most Light-fearing warriors would react with horror at the idea of spending the rest of their existence as a walking corpse. Not so with Khorag. It was particularly noted that throughout the Scarlet Enclave, then the campaign in Northrend, and virtually every other war since, he smashed his way through the enemy ranks with a big hammer in his hand and an even bigger smile on his face - enough to unnerve even the most crazed fighters. The Forsaken, in particular, learned to fear that smile on the battlefields of the Fourth War. It usually meant their heads were about to explode like ripened fruit, courtesy of the hammer in his hand.
During the war for the Shadowlands, Khorag gravitated towards two sides in that conflict, alternating as he saw fit: the Necrolords of Maldraxxus, because of their similarities to his current state, and the kyrian of Bastion, for their sense of order similar to when he was a vindicator. But it was during the final conflict in Zereth Mortis that he really embraced the fight, and also embraced their aesthetic - his armor and weapon were remade in the Creation Catalyst, and he was soon seen riding mounts created in the Protoform Forge. After the death of the Jailer and the ascendance of the new Arbiter, Khorag returned to his shattered homeworld and wandered there for a time alone, until a call to arms sounded back on Azeroth - a call issued by the Dragon Aspects. Having witnessed the Cataclysm, he wondered what could possibly happen next...
