Nemiya Shadowsun was a Farstrider of Quel'Thalas who followed Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider to Outland, where she ultimately joined the ranks of the Illidari and renounced Kael when he aligned with the Burning Legion. Able and willing to work alongside her night elf brethren - especially her mentor, the ancient night elf Desolane Felrunner - during the war against the Legion, she accepted the division between Alliance and Horde as a matter of course, and offers her burning glaives in the service of Silvermoon once more.

Biography

Nemiya was the eldest child of Lord Tor'kaeris Shadowsun and his wife Aleccia, members of a noble house long in the service of House Whitehair; her mother died while giving birth to her. Her family fell upon hard times with the coming of the Scourge, with her two closest siblings, Therakith and Erennia, falling to the army of the dead in an ultimately futile effort to protect Quel'Thalas. Tor'kaeris, who had earned his former lords' ire, would die at the Wrathgate. Linavil, the youngest, turned to the dark arts under the orc warlock known as the Corruptor, until her eventual death at the hands of a Twilight cultist during the Cataclysm.

Nemiya would never learn the fate of her father or sister until many years later; she had been among the Farstriders who followed Prince Kael'thas to Outland, and was among those sin'dorei who would swear loyalty to Illidan Stormrage and become fearsome warriors molded in his image. She fought alongside her mentor, Desolane Felrunner - a night elf from the same generation as Illidan - during the campaign on Mardum. Upon her release from the Vault of the Wardens with the rest of her brethren, she learned of her family's fate...but felt nothing. She was Illidari now, and that was enough for her.

Following the successful campaign on Argus, Nemiya now began to consider her future in a world without the Legion. The blade of Sargeras impaled into the landscape of southern Kalimdor has given her at least a small idea of "what will come next". Despite the fact that she would find herself in opposition to her night elf comrades, Nemiya has aligned with her people and the Horde in the war with the Alliance. That conflict eventually turned into civil war within the Horde itself, with Nemiya siding with the Regent and his allies against the regime of Warchief Sylvanas Windrunner, who had begun to appear more and more like the demons that Nemiya had hunted when she fought for Illidan.

With Sylvanas deposed, Nemiya has offered her services in defense of the Horde's new allies in Zandalar, while also hunting down any of the Banshee Queen's loyalists who made particular nuisances of themselves. Yet despite this, she could not help but sense a far greater conflict on the horizon...
