Rygna's Lair is an area located inside the Blackwald in Gilneas. It was the home of the black widow Rygna, the Vilebrood Matriarch. During the invasion of Gilneas, the Vilebrood spiders invaded half of Stormglen Village.[1] Since they kept coming in alarming numbers, Mayor Gwen Armstead sent the worgen adventurer to kill Rygna in her lair, ending the threat on the Gilnean refugees.[2]
Following the Reclamation of Gilneas, the lair remained devoid of life, confirming Rygna's death, although her Vilebrood brood lasted over time and spread again in the Blackwald.
