My futile attempt to document 8.0 class changes because Blizzard could not be bothered.
General
PvP
- Changes
- [Gladiator's Medallion], [Adaptation], and [Relentless] are now unlocked at Honor level 0.
- Removed
Death knight
General
- [Asphyxiate] is now also available to Frost death knights as a talent, moved from level 60 talent row to 58, and duration reduced to 4 sec for Blood death knights (was 5).
- [Chains of Ice] now learned at level 56 (was 63) and range increased to 30 yards (was 20).
- [Death's Advance] has been re-added as a baseline ability for all death knight specializations and redesigned.
- [Death Strike] now deals 46.43% of attack power in physical damage for Blood and Unholy death knights (was 225%), and 76.3% of attack power for Frost death knights (was 475%). Healing from damage taken in last 5 sec increased to 25% (was 20%) and minimum amount healed reduced to 7% of maximum health (was 10%).
- [Dark Succor] now heals for 10% of maximum health (was 100% based on [Death Strike]).
- [Death and Decay] now deals 39.6% of attack power in shadow damage (was 297%).
- [Grip of the Dead] added.
- [Icebound Fortitude] damage reduction effect increased to 30% (was 20%).
- [Rune of Razorice] now causes 1.053% of attack power as extra weapon damage (was a flat 10%).
- [Rune of the Fallen Crusader] now available at level 55 (was 70).
- [Rune of the Stoneskin Gargoyle] now available at level 55 (was 72).
- [Wraith Walk] is now a level 75 talent (was level 60 ability). Duration increased to 4 sec (was 3) and cooldown increased to 1 minute (was 45 sec).
PvP
- [Anti-Magic Zone] now unlocked at Honor level 57.
- [Cadaverous Pallor] now unlocked at Honor level 57.
- [Dark Simulacrum] now unlocked at Honor level 57 and can no longer be used against non-player targets.
- [Decomposing Aura] now unlocked at Honor level 57. Duration increased to 6 sec (was 5).
- [Heartstop Aura] now unlocked at Honor level 57.
- [Necrotic Aura] now unlocked at Honor level 57.
Blood
- Ability changes
- [Blood Boil] now deals 30% of attack power in shadow damage (was 375%).
- Bone Shield no longer reduces damage taken. It now increases Armor by 40% of Strength per charge.
- [Dancing Rune Weapon] cooldown reduced to 2 minutes (was 3).
- [Death's Caress] now deals 14.74% of attack power in shadow damage (was 90%).
- [Death Grip]'s threat generated increased to 400% (was 200%).
- [Gorefiend's Grasp]'s range reduced to 15 yards (was 20).
- [Heart Strike] now deals 24.22% of attack power in physical damage (was 185%). Now decreases enemy movement speed by 20% (was 50%).
- [Marrowrend] now deals 37.56% of attack power in physical damage (was 315%).
- [Mastery: Blood Shield] absorption amount increased to 16% (was 12%).
- [Veteran of the Third War] now increases Stamina by 60% (was 50%).
- Talent changes
- [Anti-Magic Barrier] moved to level 60 (was 58) and redesigned.
- [Bonestorm] now deals 15.23% of attack power in shadow damage (was 140%), heal amount increased to 3% of maximum health (was 2%), and its icon changed.
- [Blooddrinker] drain amount reduced to 132.68% of attack power (was 3000%).
- [Bloodworms] moved to level 90 (was 56). Now affected by all auto-attacks (previously only auto-attack critical strikes).
- [Consumption] added.
- [Foul Bulwark] moved to level 58 (was 90). Now increases maximum health by 1% per stack of Bone Shield (was 2%).
- [Hemostasis] added.
- [Mark of Blood] moved to level 90 (was 60). Duration reduced to 15 sec (was 25), heal amount reduced to 2% (was 3%), and now has a 6 sec cooldown.
- [Rapid Decomposition] no longer generates bonus runic power. Now also affects Blood Plague.
- [Red Thirst] moved to level 100 (was 60). Now reduces cooldown of [Vampiric Blood] by 1 sec per 10 runic power (was 6 runic power).
- [Rune Strike] added.
- [Rune Tap] now reduces damage taken by 30% (was 40%).
- [Tightening Grasp] no longer causes [Death and Decay] to decrease enemy movement speed by 70%.
- [Tombstone] moved to level 58 (was 60). Now consumes up to 5 stacks of Bone Shield (previously all stacks), runic power gain increased to 6 (was 3), and absorb amount increased to 6% (was 3%).
- [Voracious] added.
- [Will of the Necropolis] moved to level 60 (was 90).
- PvP talent changes
- [Death Chain] now unlocked at Honor level 57. Now inflicts 29.48% of attack power in shadow damage (was 180%), damage taken reduced to 20% (was 25%), and cooldown increased to 30 sec (was 15).
- [Last Dance] added.
- [Murderous Intent] now unlocked at Honor level 57. Redesigned.
- [Strangulate] now unlocked at Honor level 57.

- [Frost Strike] now inflicts 54% of attack power in frost damage (was 560% weapon damage).
- [Runic Empowerment] proc chance increased to 1.5% (was 1%).
- [Obliterate] now inflicts 120% of attack power in physical damage (was 456% weapon damage).
- [Pillar of Frost] cooldown decreased to 45 sec (was 1 minute).
- [Remorseless Winter] snare effect decreased to 20% (was 50%).
- Talent changes
- [Avalanche] moved to level 60 (was 58). Redesigned.
- [Blinding Sleet] moved to level 58 (was 60). Duration of disorientation effect increased to 5 sec (was 4).
- [Breath of Sindragosa] now deals frost damage instead of Shadowfrost.
- [Frostscythe] moved to level 60 (was 90). Now deals 14% of attack power in frost damage (was 135.6% of weapon damage).
- [Frostwyrm's Fury] added.
- [Frozen Pulse] moved to level 60 (was 90). Now requires having fewer than 3 full Runes (previously none) and inflicts 4.5% of attack power in frost damage (was 60%).
- [Gathering Storm] now increases damage by 10% for each rune spent during [Remorseless Winter] (was 15%). Icon changed.
- [Glacial Advance] now costs 30 Runic Power (was 1 rune) and cooldown decreased to 6 sec (was 15).
- [Horn of Winter] now generates 25 Runic Power (was 20). Cooldown increased to 45 sec (was 30).
- [Icecap] moved to level 100 (was 58). Icon changed.
- [Icy Talons] now affects all Runic Power spending abilities (previously only [Frost Strike]) and increases melee attack speed by 5% for 6 sec (was 10%).
- [Inexorable Assault] moved to level 56 (was 75). Redesigned.
- [Murderous Efficiency] now has a 50% chance to grant one Rune after consuming the [Killing Machine] effect (was 65%).
- [Obliteration] redesigned.
- [Permafrost]'s absorb effect increased to 40% (was 30%).
- [Runic Attenuation] now has a chance to generate 3 Runic Power (previously guaranteed 1 Runic Power).

- [Death Coil] ranged decreased to 30 yards (was 40). Redesigned.
- [Festering Strike] now inflicts 101.09% of attack power in physical damage (was 500% weapon damage).
- [Outbreak] now inflicts 10% of attack power in shadow damage (was 38%).
- [Raise Dead] cooldown decreased to 30 sec (was 1 minute).
- [Runic Corruption] proc chance increased to 1.4% per Runic Power spent (was 1.4%).
- [Sudden Doom] now learned at level 60 (was 64).
- [Summon Gargoyle] now a level 100 talent (was 75 baseline) and redesigned.

- [Reanimation] now unlocked at Honor level 57. Cooldown removed (was 5 sec), stun radius increased to 7 yds (was 5), and rune cost reduced to 1 (was 2).
- [Necrotic Strike] now unlocked at Honor level 57.
- [Unholy Mutation] now unlocked at Honor level 57. No longer spawns a slime, with its effect now baked into the proc itself. Duration of snare increased to 6 sec (was 3). Icon changed.
- [Wandering Plague] now unlocked at Honor level 57. Now deals 16.44% of attack power in Plague damage (was 100%) and absorbs 225% of attack power in healing (was 600%).

- [Soul Rending] redesigned.
- [Torment] is now a baseline ability for both specializations (previously Vengeance only).
PvP
- [Detainment] now unlocked at Honor level 101 and redesigned.
- [Mana Rift] now unlocked at Honor level 101.
- [Reverse Magic] now unlocked at Honor level 101.
- [Solitude] now unlocked at Honor level 101. Bonuses reduced to 10% (was 15%).
- [Unending Hatred] now unlocked at Honor level 101 and redesigned.
Havoc
- Ability changes
- [Blade Dance] damage is now based on attack power (was weapon damage).
- [Chaos Nova] now stuns all nearby enemies for 2 sec (was 5). Now also grants 30% chance to generate a Lesser Soul Fragment for each enemy stunned by Chaos Nova.
- [Chaos Strike] damage is now based on attack power (was weapon damage). All attacks with Chaos Strike now have a 40% chance to refund 20 Fury (previously 100% from critical strikes).
- [Darkness] now grants a 20% chance to avoid all damage from an attack (was 15%).
- [Demon's Bite] damage is now based on attack power (was weapon damage). Now generates 25 Fury (was 20 to 30 Fury).
- [Eye Beam] cooldown reduced to 30 sec (was 45), Fury cost reduced to 30 (was 50), and now increases primary target's damage taken by 50%. Damage now capped at a total of 150% of attack power over 2 sec.
- [Mastery: Demonic Presence] now increases chaos damage by 12% (was 11%) and increases movement speed by 4.8% (was 8%).
- [Metamorphosis] cooldown reduced to 4 minutes (was 5), now also grants 20% Leech, and now dazes enemy players (previously stunned).
- [Shattered Souls] now heals for 20% of maximum health (was 25%).
- [Vengeful Retreat] damage is now based on attack power (was weapon damage).
- Talent changes
- [Blind Fury] now grants 40 Fury every sec (was 35).
- [Cycle of Hatred] added.

- Nemesis moved to level 110 (was 106) and damage bonuses reduced to 20% (was 25%).

- [Cover of Darkness] now unlocked at Honor level 101.
- [Demonic Origins] now unlocked at Honor level 101. Damage increased by 5% while not in [Metamorphosis] (was 10%).
- [Eye of Leotheras] now unlocked at Honor level 101 and no longer available to Vengeance demon hunters. Damage suffered by enemy reduced to 5% of health (was 6%).
- [Glimpse] now unlocked at Honor level 101.
- [Mana Break] now unlocked at Honor level 101. Now deals 5% of target's maximum health in damage (was 15%), further increased by target's amount of mana remaining by up to 25% (was 30%).
- [Rain from Above] now unlocked at Honor level 101.

Vengeance

- [Demon Spikes] redesigned.
- [Demonic Wards] now reduces damage taken by 10% (was 20%), increase stamina by 65% (was 55%), and armor by 80% (was 75%).
- [Mastery: Fel Blood] redesigned.
- [Metamorphosis] now also increases armor by 100%.
- [Shear] damage is now based on attack power (was weapon damage).
- [Sigil of Misery] cooldown increased to 1.5 minutes (was 1 minute).
- [Soul Cleave] primary damage is now based on attack power (was weapon damage). Now costs 30 Pain (was 25 to 50 Pain), and now only consumes up to 2 Soul Fragments within 25 yards (was all fragments within 20 yards).
- Talent changes
- [Charred Flesh] added.
- [Feed the Demon] now reduces the remaining cooldown of [Demon Spikes] by 0.5 sec after consuming a Soul Fragment (was 1).
