Notes
- The
[Deathlord's Gift] anima power grants this talent for Unholy death knights.
Patch changes
Patch 11.2.0 (2025-08-05): Damage increased by 15% and now damages up to 7 nearby targets (was reduced damage beyond 8 targets). - Hotfix (2024-09-06): No longer deals reduced damage in PvP (was -11%).

- Now increases [Festering Wound] damage by 16% (was 20%).

Patch 9.1.5 (2021-11-02): No longer maximum target capped and now deals reduced damage beyond 8 targets. - Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now requires level 25 (was 57). Now capped at 8 targets.
Patch 8.3.0 (2020-01-14): Now increases the healing absorption provided by 
[Necrotic Strike]. - Patch 8.1.0 (2018-12-11): Now affects all nearby targets.
- Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Now requires level 57 (was 56). Now causes Festering Wounds to deal 25% more damage (was 50% more damage).
