Tips and tactics

• While using this ability, you will not be able to move from your spot until the channeling is finished. You can still, however, choose the direction you are facing towards. Don't use Eye Beam if you think you'll need to move to avoid taking damage before the channeling is finished.
• Using [Fel Rush] cancels the attack.

Trivia

• Eye Beam appears as an epic demon hunter card in the Demon Hunter Initiate set for Hearthstone. Its flavor text reads: "Sometimes looks CAN kill."

• Patch 10.2.0 (2023-11-07): Damage increased by 15%.
  
• Hotfix (2023-08-21):
  • No longer interrupted by school lockout effects.
  • Damage is no longer increased in PvP combat (was increased by 16%).
    
• Patch 10.1.0 (2023-05-02): Damage increased by 16% in PvP combat.

  • Now a row 1 Havoc talent (was a level 11 Havoc ability).

  • Guaranteed critical hit moved to Rank 2 at level 23.
    
• Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Cooldown reduced to 30 sec (was 45), Fury cost reduced to 30 (was 50), and now increases primary target's damage taken by 50%.
