Darkness is a Havoc demon hunter talent.

Patch changes

Hotfix (2023-11-13): Fixed an issue that prevented Darkness from having its effect increased to 50% in PvP combat, as intended.
Patch 10.2.0 (2023-11-07): Now has a 15% chance to avoid all damage from an attack (was 20%). Chance to avoid damage increased by 100% when not in a raid.
Hotfix (2022-11-10): Fixed an issue that caused Darkness' effect to be 10% as Vengeance instead of the intended 20%.
Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 8 class talent (was a level 39 Havoc ability). Rank 2 converted into the [Pitch Black] talent.
Patch 9.1.0 (2021-06-29): Now grants a 50% chance to avoid damage while in PvP Combat (was 20%).
Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13):
- Now learned at level 39 (was 100). Cooldown increased to 5 minutes (was 3).
- Rank 2 added at level 47: Cooldown reduced by 120 sec.
Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Now grants a 20% chance to avoid all damage from an attack (was 15%).
Hotfix (2020-05-18): Fixed a bug that prevented Haste from reducing the global cooldown of Darkness.
Hotfix (2016-08-12): Darkness is now only available to Havoc Demon Hunters.
