Notes and trivia
- Consume Magic is a basic demon hunter card in the Demon Hunter Initiate set for Hearthstone. Its flavor text reads: "Please be mindful when consuming raw or undercooked magic."
- This ability originated in the Battle for Azeroth beta as
[Reap Magic], a death knight spell.

Patch changes
Patch 10.2.0 (2023-11-07): Moved to row 4 (was row 3). - Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): Now a row 3 class talent (was a level 17 ability). Rank 2 converted into the [Swallowed Anger] talent.
Hotfix (2021-08-05): Fixed an issue that could prevent the Demon Hunter from gaining Fury with Consume Magic. - Hotfix (2020-11-18): Consume Magic (Rank 2) bonus effects are now properly granted when unlocked.
- Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13):
- Now requires level 17 (was 103). Now grants Fury for both specializations, as Pain has been removed.
- Rank 2 added at level 37: Generates 20 Fury when a beneficial Magic effect is successfully removed from the target.
Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Added.
