Rune of the Fallen Crusader is a death knight unholy rune that can be applied to a weapon through [Runeforging].

Notes

The name and mechanic is an homage to the classic  [Crusader] weapon enchantment.

Patch changes

• Patch 11.0.2 (2024-08-13): Now heals for 4% maximum health (was 6%).
  
• Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Level squish. Now available at level 8 (was 70).
  
• Hotfix (2018-08-10): Unholy Strength increases Strength by 10% when engaged in combat with enemy players (was 15%).
  
• Patch 7.0.3 (2016-07-19): Now increases Strength by 15% (down from 20%) and heals for 6% (up from 3%).
  
• Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Now increases Strength by 20% (up from 15%).
  
• Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): Strength bonus reduced to 15%. Chance to proc doubled.
