Glacial Advance is a Frost death knight talent. When cast, it causes frozen spikes to erupt from the ground in a line in front of the caster, dealing damage and applying Razorice. The spikes travel about 15–20 yards away from the caster.
Notes and trivia
- During the Legion alpha, this ability used a different visual effect, with groups of forward-jutting spikes that popped up more slowly than the live version.
- This talent was mentioned in the April Fools' Day Legion Alpha patch note preview: "Due to global warming, Glacial Advance has been reduced by 20%."
- Glacial Advance is a common death knight spell in Hearthstone. Its flavor text reads: "You just wait, I'll get there in 10 years and then you'll be sorry."

Patch 11.1.0 (2025-02-25): Visual has been updated.
Hotfix (2024-09-03): Damage reduced by 10%. Does not apply to PvP.
