Mastery: Blood Shield is the Blood death knight Mastery. Its effect is increased by the mastery secondary stat.

Patch changes
Patch 11.0.0 (2024-07-23): Cap is now 50% of the Death Knight's maximum health (was 100%) and the cap is no longer temporarily increased by
[Vampiric Blood].
Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now learned at level 10 (was 78).
Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Absorption amount increased to 16% (was 12%).
