Cinematics (UI)

The Cinematics interface as of patch 11.0.0.

The Cinematics interface can be accessed from the login screen or character selection screen via the Game Menu. It displays buttons for the various World of Warcraft cinematic intros throughout the game's history.

Patch changes

• Patch 11.0.0 (2024-07-23): UI revamped. It is now accessed from the Game Menu.
  
• Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): UI refresh.
  
• Patch 4.0.1 (2010-10-12): Added art to the cinematic buttons, a close button, and an option to show subtitles.
  
• Patch 2.0.3 (2007-01-09): Button now opens a menu with two available cinematics. Previously, clicking the "Cinematics" button played the "Seasons of War" cinematic.
