HUD

The HUD, or heads-up display, is the interface that the player interacts with through their day-to-day gameplay. The HUD layout has remained mostly the same over the years, with minor interface adjustments.

Dragonflight introduced Edit Mode which allows a player to choose between a "Modern" layout (new with Dragonflight), the "Classic" layout (2004-2022 layout), or to create their own layout.

Patch changes

Patch 10.0.0 (2022-10-25): New "Modern" layout while the original is available as a preset. Both can be switched between or create a new custom one through Edit Mode.
Patch 8.0.1 (2018-07-17): Minor layout changes, moving the micro menu and bag slots from the interface bar to the bottom right corner.
