Varok Saurfang is walking through the fields of Nagrand. He touches the field's grain and it crumbles in his hand. While gazing at Outland's landscape, he continues towards an orcish settlement while Oshu'gun stands imposing on the distance. As he walks towards the residence of an old friend, Thrall appears grinding a blade, then he notices Saurfang approaching. The two walk towards each other and meet in front of a building.
Varok Saurfang: This world... It looks good... but it's... wrong. Broken. Falling apart. Just like the Horde. Do you know? Do you know what she's done while you've been[3] hiding?
Thrall takes notice of Varok Saurfang's slightly burned pendant with a Horde insignia before responding.
Thrall: I left that life behind. I'm no one's savior. I will not lead the Horde.
Varok Saurfang: I didn't ask. But I hoped you would at least fight for it.
Thrall simply turns around and walks away, but something invisible moves in the nearby bushes. It suddenly rushes up behind Saurfang, but he manages to deflect the attack, causing it—an assassin—to bound over him and land between the two orcs, disengaging from Stealth. Thrall uses a shovel to hurl dust into the air, revealing another assassin. The two pairs begin to fight. Saurfang smacks one of the assassins with a nearby post, slamming her against a stone wall and presumably killing her. Thrall fends off his own assassin, though when she leaps backwards and enters Stealth once more, Saurfang grabs her and snaps her neck, killing her as well. The old orc then pulls back the assassin's mask, revealing her to be Forsaken. Thrall angrily confronts Saurfang.
Thrall: You were followed!
Varok Saurfang: I followed them. You and I... We don't get to hide.
A remorseful expression passes over Thrall's features before he turns and walks towards his anvil, pushing it aside and revealing a hidden compartment underneath, from which he pulls out an axe. He turns to face Saurfang and slings the weapon over his shoulder, resolved to fight for the Horde alongside him.
The cinematic canonizes that rogues actually become invisible when in [Stealth] mode, complete with the sound effect used when rogue players enter Stealth in World of Warcraft.
