The Felsteed is a warlock-exclusive felsteed mount learned by leveling a warlock character to level 10.

Patch changes

• Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): Now learned at level 10 (was 20). No longer automatically teaches Apprentice Riding.
  
• Patch 5.4.0 (2013-09-10): Now affected by [The Codex of Xerrath].
  
• Patch 3.2.0 (2009-08-04): Can now be learned at level 20 (was 30).
  
• Patch 3.0.2 (2008-10-14): Added to the mounts tab. No longer has a mana cost.
  
• Patch 2.4.3 (2008-07-15): Can now be learned at level 30 (was 40).
  
• Patch 1.12.1 (2006-09-26): Now automatically teaches Apprentice Riding.

  • Nightmare renamed Felsteed.
  • No longer purchased at the trainer, but rewarded via quest.
  • Cast time decreased to be in line with other mount summoning spells.
    
• Patch 0.8 (2004-07-07): Getting attacked or damaged will no longer dismount the Warlock from the Nightmare.
