Hippogryph mounts became available with patch 2.3.0. Six epic quality mounts are currently available in-game. Of these, one is exclusively attainable by Alliance players.

Achievement

[Flameward Hippogryph] is obtained from [The Molten Front Offensive].
[Leyfeather Hippgryph] is obtained from [Glory of the Legion Hero].

Azsuna

[Cloudwing Hippogryph] is a possible drop from [Farondis Chest].
[Long-Forgotten Hippogryph] is granted upon being the first to interact with 5 Ephemeral Crystals around Azsuna within 8 hours, and not dying or leaving Azsuna in the process.

Vendor

[Argent Hippogryph] can be purchased from tournament faction quartermasters for 150 [Champion's Seal] in Icecrown.
[Cenarion War Hippogryph] is sold by Fedryen Swiftspear <Cenarion Expedition Quartermaster> at the Cenarion Refuge in Zangarmarsh. It requires Exalted reputation with the Cenarion Expedition.
[Val'sharah Hippogryph] is purchased for 5,000 from Aridormi <Timewalking Vendor> in Dalaran.
[Silver Covenant Hippogryph] is sold by Hiren Loresong <Silver Covenant Quartermaster> in the Silver Covenant Pavilion for 150 [Champion's Seal]. It requires the completion of the [A Silver Confidant] achievement.

These mounts are obtained by redeeming loot codes with Landro Longshot in Booty Bay.

[Blazing Hippogryph] can be obtained from the Wrathgate TCG expansion set.
[Corrupted Hippogryph] can be obtained from the Crown of the Heavens TCG expansion set.

[Emerald Hippogryph] was one of the reward mounts available for those who bring a friend into WoW through the Recruit-A-Friend system.
[Teldrassil Hippogryph] was a reward from [110] From the Ashes... during the War of the Thorns world event.
