Druid organizations
Several druid organizations can be found among the various races and cultures of Azeroth. Most of them are under the leadership of archdruids, the highest rank[1] a druid can hold as an award from the Cenarion Circle.[2]
As the First of the druids, Malfurion Stormrage is the founder and leader of the Cenarion Circle, a harmonious order that guides and keeps watch over the world's druids and their practices.[3] Following Cenarius' death in the Third War, and Malfurion's disappearance into the Emerald Dream, the druidic world was temporary represented by Keeper Remulos of Nighthaven,[4] Archdruid Fandral Staghelm of Darnassus,[5] and Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem of Thunder Bluff.[6]
Following the War Against the Nightmare, Malfurion was freed from his imprisonment, and has since resumed his role as leader of the druids to protect Azeroth from threats, such as Deathwing, the Emerald Dream, or the Burning Legion.
