Spiritclaw
The Spiritclaws are a sect of mogu assassin-priests who, at the height of the mogu empire, were the most elite and most feared of the emperor's troops. All have mastered a deathblow which ensnares the spirit of the enemy, trapping it in a jade bottle for delivery to a Spiritbinder. The mogu have continued training Spiritclaws even after the fall of their empire.[1][2]
The Spiritclaws returned with Shan Jitong to the Terrace of Ten Thunders. They tried to summon ancient mogu spirits into the statues around the terrace and also woke the spirit of Pei-Zhi. He worked with adventurers of the newly-arrived Alliance and Horde and guided them to defeat the mogu.[3] Pei-Zhi also conducted a ritual to guide the spirits back to peace with The Tan-Chao.[4] When it was done, Shan Jitong took Pei-Zhi, but the adventurer killed Shan Jitong as well.[5]
